Jason Patterson
Founder/CEO
Jase Patterson comes with 27 years of combined mental health and education experience that has touched areas from mental health fields as Associate Director of facilities, to being a principal of a middle and high school. Being a US Army veteran as well a former boxer, Jase realized that these two things changed his life. Now he is giving back through the Brownstone Mentoring group by implementing what made his life, and saved his life by providing these wonderful programs of services to all ages and walks of life.

Troy Brown
President
Troy Brown is a professional that has served the community for over 20 years through mentoring, working with at risk youth, and the rehabilitation of incarcerated adults. Serving the community as a law enforcement professional for many years to provide a bridge of positive possibilities for community growth.

Charles Pine
Vice President
Charles Pine has been a professional in support of youth for 22 years. Mr. Pine has experience in dealing with community and residentially based mental health crisis situations. Residential youth managed care and community independent living programs designed to support youth with housing mental health counseling services and well as life skill building.

Cherica Bell
Secretary
Cherica Bell serves as Assistant Director for TRIO Educational Talent Search at CSUSB, which exists to assist low-income, first-generation students prepare for college. She is passionate about closing the achievement gaps for minority students, especially African American students. Cherica proudly serves on various educational committees, all with the main goal of helping our African American students and parents navigate the K-12 system and higher education.

Mireya Cruces
Board Member
Mireya Cruces is a dedicated occupational therapy assistant who is passionate about helping children succeed in the classroom. Working in a school setting, she collaborates closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, and families to support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and self-care independence. Through personalized interventions, Mireya strives to create a supportive and engaging environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
Outside of work, Mireya enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, exploring new restaurants, or simply unwinding with a favorite re-watched show.
